Young five-piece rock band from Cambridge in the UK, with a swagger belying their experience and years.
Produced by former Airrace / More guitarist Laurie Mansworth at Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ studio, the group’s debut album, ‘This Might Hurt’, picked up rave reviews right from the start, supported by the singles / videos, ‘Drink, F**k, Fight’ & ‘The Doctor’.
Combining classic influences (early Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns n’ Roses, etc.) with a raw & youthful energy, plus a deep regard for the more rockin’ moments of ’70s punk, The Treatment have spent the past few months out on the road, combining headline shows with special guest spots (Black Stone Cherry, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Steel Panther, etc.) and major festival appearances – these include Download (UK), Reload (Germany), Graspop (Belgium) & Earshakerday! (Switzerland).
And that’s not all… with new single / video ‘Nothing To Lose But Our Minds’ currently on release, plus tours with Thin Lizzy (UK) and Kiss / Motley Crue (US / Canada) in the pipeline, The Treatment have busy & exciting times ahead of them; and 2012 should also see the official release of the ‘Then & Again’ covers EP – a five-track affair originally put together as a Record Store Day UK exclusive.
The Treatment: just what the doctor ordered.
To be taken at least twice a day, not necessarily with water!
